Produced in Austria and Germany from sawmill by-products, Binderholz pellets combine selected wood with HD technology for more uniform pellet lengths.

Technical Data

Binderholz: quality in numbers

For its spruce-based 6 mm pellets, Binderholz reports a net calorific value ≥ 17.5 MJ/kg (≥ 4.86 kWh/kg) and ash content ≤ 0.4% at 550 °C.

Moisture is ≤ 7.1%, mechanical durability ≥ 98.8% and fines ≤ 0.2%. These are the manufacturer's test results in the September 2026 edition of the Biobrennstoffe brochure.

Binderholz holds ENplus® A1 certification for its 6 mm pellets. TopGranulati offers 70 bags of 15 kg, giving a total of 1050 kg of pellets per pallet.

Raw Materials & Technology

From Binderholz wood to HD technology

Binderholz uses by-products from its own sawmills: sawdust and shavings from sustainably managed forests. The pellets are made without chemical additives.

Production takes place in Austria and Germany. HD technology optimises the uniformity of pellet lengths, supporting an even feed into the combustion chamber.

Production is subject to internal and external quality controls. Store the bags in a dry place, protected from moisture, to preserve pellet quality until use.
